The Shanbo Cave is dug out of the "Shu Bodong Stone"; the dig in the Lichee Cave is called "Litchi Travertine." The mine hole we saw was called Duling Cave. It was one of the most famous mines in the early days. The dugong stone produced from this hole is called Duling. It is said that it is hard to see again in the market. The mining and utilization of Shoushan Stone has a history of more than 1600 years. Coupled with the rapid increase of the market in recent years, the original mine has been dug and dug, and the newly discovered mine is also dug right and dug, often dug into two holes. Shoushan has been hollowed out, so these abandoned mines are actually very dangerous. There are iron gates at the entrances, locked with locks, we can't go inside to find out. In the afternoon, we came to Putian, which has been producing Tian Huang for a long time. Today, it is no longer a "field". It has been dug up countless times by countless people since ancient times, and it has not stopped. The most primitive way we saw at the side of the field, one person used a spade to shovel the mud into the shovel, the other person washed it repeatedly with water, and rushed to find it, and the remaining mud was piled behind him. Transparent, high transparency is called "frozen stone"; while in the north of Duchengkeng Mountain, there is Yuewei Mountain, "Moontail Stone" is mainly green and purple, and green is called "moontail green", purple red Called "moon tail purple". This custom, named after the place of origin, makes the Shoushan Stone variety more than 200 varieties. Shoushan Township is named after Shoushan. Shoushan Stone should be discovered and mined from Shoushan at the earliest time. It is called Shoushan Stone. The resources for long-term exploitation are exhausted, but the demand has never stopped. Therefore, the mountain continues to find continued mining, Gaoshan, Yuewei Mountain, Qijiang Mountain and Duchengkeng Mountain have been successively discovered, and now this extension has reached Furong Mountain in Yueyang Village, which is far from Shoushan. These alpine stones, moontail stones, flagstones, and Duchengite stones are now a kind of Shoushan Stone. Shoushan Stone has become a collective name. However, in the market and the ancient people, people do not use Shoushan Stone. Instead, it is customary to refer to the specific origin name.
After the mine returned, we came to the Shoushan Stone Market. Ximen is a relatively popular market, and there is a place where we have the ability to start; the shops on the left side of the park are mostly valuable boutiques, and the prices are tens of thousands, which is unpredictable; the special art city is a comprehensive market with jade Shoushan Stone only accounts for a small part of the crystal and other varieties. In the whole market, most of the Shoushan Stone we have seen is Furong Stone, which is produced on a Furong Mountain in Yueyang Village, which is far away from Shoushan Stone. It is the main source of large-scale mining. The mineral composition of Shoushan Stone is complex. The lectures of Mr. Tang and the latest edition of System Gemology are summarized in the composition of Shoushan Stone. They are composed of dickite, kaolinite, pearlite, illite and pyrophyllite, but in the current 2003 edition. In the national standard, the mineral composition of Shoushan Stone does not include pyrophyllite. The author also brought some specimens back. This creates a contradiction. And it is precisely the mainstream variety in the Fuzhou market now, saying that they are not Shoushan Stone, but the local community of Fujian and the traditional culture of Shoushan Stone must be in vain. In fact, the naming principle of the national standard is based on the mineral composition, and the origination factor is excluded. The author believes that this is very scientific and reasonable, but in actual operation, it will be in conflict with the traditional cultural customs of jade. In the same way, the jade stone with Dikai stone and illite as the main minerals is not only one place in Fujian. The author also bought another pair of seals in the market. The seller is collectively referred to as “the stone of the province†and does not recognize that it is Shoushan Stone. However, the map of the infrared test is exactly the map of Shoushan Stone, so it can be named Shoushan Stone in the formal appraisal.
From this we can see that on the one hand, the market is hoping to strengthen the factors of origin, because it is in line with people's traditional psychology and facilitates economic speculation. A pair of high-quality "external frozen stones" generally only need more than 1000 pieces, and the same quality is at least tens of thousands if it is "alpine frozen stone". Although experienced people can indeed distinguish their origins based on the different characteristics of the sample, overall the origin identification is not strictly certain, and it is obviously unreasonable to use it as the main basis for influencing its price. On the other hand, the Shoushan Stone culture has its deep-rooted roots. Therefore, although the international has not changed, the same authoritative new edition of System Gemology has included pyrophyllite as the main mineral component of Shoushan Stone. Of course, the result is the origin factor. Lighten in the name. Just as people who know something about it now see the word "Hetian jade" written on the certificate of authentication, it is no longer considered to be the "hetian material" in the traditional sense.
