We're calling it the Advisors Circle, a handpicked group of sewists who will have a direct connection to the Oliver + S and Liesl + Co. design studio and, most importantly, direct access to me.
Being part of this circle means you'll play a role in shaping our pattern designs. You'll not only have the chance to sew unique projects that challenge your skills but also gain insights into how our business operates.
For instance, every once in a while, I’ll reach out with a special custom project idea using our existing patterns. Whether it’s for yourself or someone else, you’ll receive personalized guidance from me to complete the project. By the end of it, you’ll create something truly one-of-a-kind while picking up new techniques. In return, all we ask is that you share your finished project on the Oliver + S blog—of course, with full credit to you—and perhaps even across your own platforms if you have any. Sharing your experience helps others learn too!
Additionally, we’ll occasionally seek your feedback on upcoming patterns and projects. Think of it as a mini focus group where you can influence what comes next. It’s a fantastic way to stay involved and contribute to the sewing community.
This isn’t about being a pattern tester; rather, it’s an opportunity for those eager to deepen their sewing expertise and engage more deeply within our sewing family.
