Hello everyone!
I've been thinking about this for over a year now, and 2018 is finally the year we're going to bring everything together. We'd love for you to be a part of it!
This new initiative we're launching is called the Advisors Circle. It's going to be a select group of sewists who will have a direct connection to the Oliver + S and Liesl + Co. design studio and, most importantly, a direct line to me.
As a member of the Advisors Circle, you'll have the chance to contribute your ideas to our pattern development process. You'll also get to work on special projects that will challenge you and help you grow as a sewist. Plus, you'll get an exclusive look into our business operations.
Now, what exactly does that involve? From time to time, I'll reach out to Advisors Circle members with ideas for unique, custom sewing projects that utilize our patterns. If you're interested in taking on one of these projects—either for yourself or for a child—you'll receive personalized guidance and support from me. The goal is for you to create something truly personal and meaningful while expanding your skill set. In return for this hands-on assistance, you'll commit to photographing your finished piece and writing a post for the Oliver + S blog about your experience. Of course, you'll be credited for your work, and you'll have the chance to share your post on your own blog or social media channels. This way, you'll not only learn something new but also pass on your knowledge and excitement to our sewing community!
Additionally, we'll occasionally seek your feedback and input on upcoming projects and patterns. You'll get early glimpses of what's coming down the pipeline and the chance to influence our decision-making process. Think of it as a mini-focus group where you can help shape the future of our brand. I love bouncing ideas off our customers, and this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute while deepening your involvement in the sewing community.
Please note, this is not a call for pattern testers. Instead, it's a fresh opportunity for those eager to broaden their sewing expertise and become more actively engaged with the sewing world.

We aim to select between six and eight individuals for this group, so best of luck! I believe this is going to be an incredibly enjoyable year ahead.
